On Sunday June 5th, 2011, the Law Enforcement Fishing Classic (LEFC) once again will be on in Ontario, Canada. Please contact the Director if you wish to be a participant or sponsor in this years tournament (lefc@ymail.com ).
During this year's LEFC, we are expecting close to 150 participants in the PRO/AM Classic. As in years past the participants consist of members from the Toronto Police Service, Joint Forces Operations, Peel Region Police Services, Durham Region Police Service, York Region Police Service, Ontario Provincial Police, Toronto EMS and Toronto Fire Services.
The LEFC appreciates all of the sponsors donations and assistance such as the Toronto Police Amateur Athletic Association, Toronto Police Association, Molson Canada, OFAH, Bass Pro Shop Vaughan, Normark Inc., G AND G Electronics, Siltek Design, Mizmo, Canadian Tire (MARKHAM), Boston Pizza (Keswick), Costco and Pizza Nova.
A Charitable Donation will be made with the proceeds of this event. A significant contribution will made on behalf of the participants to the Nolan Russel Trust Fund. Nolan is the son of Sgt. Ryan Russell. Sgt. Russell a member of the Toronto Police Service made the ultimate sacrifice this year and he will be remembered and honoured in this years LEFC.
